My Thoughts on Nanea and the August 2017 Releases Part 2

Hello! I’m here again with part 2! This time I’m sharing my thoughts on the new contemporary things and the new BeForever things! Oh, and I forgot to tell you last time, but I won’t be doing the stuff for girls or the books. Anyway, let’s get started!

First, the contemporary characters: Gabriela:

This is Gabriela’s Celebration Dress, selling for $36. Wow, that dress is gorgeous!! And it looks so good on her! I believe that the dress is velvet, which is really cool. I really like this, but my dolls don’t wear fancy dresses very often, so I probably won’t get it.

This is Gabriela’s Colorful Cupcake Set, selling for $34. I’m not a big fan of this. I wouldn’t use it very often and it looks so plasticy. Is it just me, or does this look like it should be for the Wellie Wishers? A cool thing about this, though, is that the frosting turns different colors under either cold or warm water. (I think cold). I still don’t want this.

Z:

This is Z’s Rainy Day Outfit, selling for $34. First of all, where’s the umbrella? Second of all, too many colors! I may like it better if there were less colors or different colors. The colors it does have are a little too pastel to me. But I do love bright colors! I think these items would work good separately, just not really together. The leggings are pretty awesome, though! Even so, I don’t really want this.

This is Popcorn’s Rainy Day Outfit, selling for $28. There’s the umbrella! I read that it has a handle so Z can hold it. That’s cool, but I think it should’ve came with Z’s outfit. I love the outfit, though, it’s super cute! But I’m not a big doll pet fan, so I don’t really want it.

This is Z’s Media Kit, selling for $60. This is pretty cool! There’s Seattle background on one side of the thing (😂) and a green screen on the other side! Plus the little accessories are cute! This is expensive, though, so even if I do get Z, I probably won’t get it. I don’t have anywhere to put it anyway, though! 😉

Now the BeForever characters:

Kaya:

This is Kaya’s Trading Outfit, selling for $36. Hold the phone, something for Kaya?! It’s an almost Christmas miracle! This is a really cute dress, but it looks super similar to almost every single one of her other dresses. But I guess that’s how it was in the 1700s, so I can’t complain! I really like how it’s white, that’s different! I don’t have Kaya, and none of my dolls dress like this, so I most likely won’t get this.

This is Kaya’s Trading Accessories, selling for $36. This set is AWESOME! I especially like the jewelry and stick horse. I’m really glad AG came put with this, I think Kaya needed it. (Or anything at all! 😂) I don’t plan on getting Kaya, and I’m not sure how well my dolls would like this stuff, so I probably won’t get this.

This is a Beaver, selling for $20. Why does Kaya need a beaver…? I don’t remember one from her stories. He’s pretty cute though! I don’t want or need him though.

Kit:

This is Kit’s Christmas Outfit, selling for $36. Behold Kit’s new Christmas outfit!I think I like it better than the last one! The  ruffles are a nice touch, and I love the fabric! Go plaid! I don’t get Christmas outfits, though, so I probably won’t get this.

This is Kit’s Christmas Stocking, selling for $20. THAT SOCK MONKEY IS ADORABLE!! Who doesn’t need a doll sized sock monkey? Plus the embroidery on the stocking itself is really nice. But I wouldn’t use the stocking very often, probably just on Christmas Eve. And I don’t think a doll sized sock monkey is worth $20, so I probably won’t get this.

This is Maryellen’s Rockin’ Roller Skating Outfit, selling for $28. This is a pretty cute outfit, but not my favorite. I probably won’t get this.

This is Maryellen’s Roller Skating Accessories, selling for $48. The roller skates are really cute, especially because they have pink pom poms! I don’t think it’s worth $48, though, so I probably won’t get it.

Melody:

This is Melody’s Birthday Outfit, selling for $32. I think that this outfit is super cute! I especially like the sweater, although there’s usually no need for one where I live. 😉 That skirt reminds me of Rebecca’s meet outfit. I’m not sure if I’ll get this, maybe.

This is Melody’s Birthday Party Accessories, selling for $40. Wow, $40?: Too expensive for me. It’s really cute, though, and I like that the cake is chocolate. Why? Because I love chocolate cake! As I said before, this is too expensive for me, (and I don’t need any doll food right now), so I probably won’t get this.

Rebecca:

This is Rebecca’s Winter Jacket, selling for $34. Expensive! Why? Because all it includes is the jacket, (no dress!) the hat, and the hand muff. But I’m in love anyway! 😍 I probably won’t get this, though, because none of my dolls are girly girls.

Julie:

This is Julie’s Pet Bunny, selling for $24. This is the upgraded version of it, anyway. 😉 It’s a cute little bunny, but it doesn’t look very special. It’s bed is pretty cute, especially the pillow! To me, the upgraded version of Julie’s bunny just looks brighter. Which is good, since she’s from the 70s! As I’ve said before, I’m not a big doll pet person, so I probably won’t get this.
