Review Of Josefina: Requested By Jewel

I’m ACTUALLY doing a request?! What?! πŸ˜‚

Anyway, this one was requested by Jewel.

Aww, look. It was when my own name was AG Homeschooler! (Although I didn’t change it that long ago…) πŸ˜‰

Wowzers, that was requested forever ago! πŸ˜‚ Sorry ’bout that, Jewel. πŸ˜…

But let’s get this thing started!

First, let’s look at Josefina herself.

Josefina has the Josefina face mold, brown eyes, black hair, chestnut skin tone, and permanent gold hoop earrings.

I’m sure it’s possible to remove the earrings, but I don’t know how. Also, you’d have to be okay with DIYing your doll. (IDK what it’s called. πŸ˜‚)

Her hair is EXTREMELY long. When down, it goes her ankles!

If you like doing your doll’s hair, this can be good. If not, well, keep it in the braid she comes in!

I like her long hair. I’m able to do hairstyles with it that I can’t do with my other dolls.

Moving on to her outfit.

Her shirt is white with a little bit of lace on the sleeves and neckline. It actually pretty long. It reaches just above her knees. It could easily pass as a nightgown!

Her belt is blue, and ends with braiding on each side. You have to tie it in the back, so it’s removable. (Yay!)

Her maxi skirt is red with blue flowers and stripes. It also has a bit of orange. On the bottom of the skirt is the same lace found on the shirt.

While really pretty, the skirt doesn’t go with much, nor is it very modern.

These moccasins, however, are really modern. (In my opinion. I don’t keep up with the fads. Not my thing. πŸ˜‰)

They tend to come untied, though. I can’t tie shoes, so that’s a downside for me. πŸ˜‚

Josefina also come with hair accessories. Yellow flowers, (all with one stem, BTW), and a blue ribbon. I have since lost the ribbon. πŸ˜‚ NOTHING CAN SURVIVE THE CRAZY RATE IN WHICH I LOSE STUFF!!

There’s also an elastic, but do I even need to include that? (No, Eden, you do not.)

And that, my dear peeps, is my review on Josefina.

All in all, I love Josefina! She’s totally worth getting.

As a side note, though, she looks similar to Kaya. If you have Kaya, you may not want to get Josefina.

Anyway, thanks for sticking aroud to the end! It must’ve been hard. I’m pretty weird. πŸ˜‚ (Mom: “Not pretty weird, Sweetie. VERY weird.”)

I can just imagine Mom saying that. πŸ˜‚

  1. Great reveiw! I love Josefina, mine’s a first addition so she’s a little different from a lot of Josefinas, but I love all of them! I’ve actually used the top as a nightgown before because I don’t have PJs for her yet. Do you pronounce Josefina’s name with a “H” or a “J” sound? I ended up pronouncing it with a “J” sound πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks! Oh, cool! I do, sometimes, too. I’m pretty sure you pronounce it with an “H” like in JosΓ©. But I pronounce it with a “J,” too. πŸ˜‰
